In current state, a deal would be renewed, not extended. If the Storage Provider has an unsealed copy, this is pretty simple. If not, you need to ensure it's not overwritten on the SP side and the Storage Provider is willing to try extracting the sealed data. Filecoin/Lotus does not have a path for this baked in.
